New Patient Information
This clinic has served as a community acupuncture clinic originally downtown and now here. The space has been modified from its formerly cozy and intimate group setting to a pandemic-safe style of clinic. I have been pretty happy to adapt to the current times and hope you will feel confident in the changes that have been made.
Preparation for the Treatment
Please do not come on an empty stomach. We ask that you eat something 1-2 hours prior to your appointment. If you are unable to do so, please let the acupuncturist know.
Wear loose, comfortable clothes. We need access below knees and elbows. Shorts, skirts, or baggy pants are best.
If you have any time constraints, let us know before the treatment. Ideally you will stay at least 20 minutes.
Again, make sure to turn off your cell phone before stepping into the clinic.
In consideration for other patients, please avoid strong perfumes and colognes.
Feel free to bring items for your own comfort such as special pillows, blankets, headphones, or eye covers. We have ear-plugs for twenty-five cents.
Please get yourself ready for treatment. This means using the restroom, taking your chair taking off shoes and socks, pulling up pants and sleeves, and reclining comfortably. If you need any adjustments- blanket, pillow, etc, please tell me before I put needles in.
